Potty Training

I have tried everything, EVERYTHING, to get this kid to go to the bathroom like a big kid. Nothing is working!!

I figured I would just let him play in the yard all morning in his underwear hoping it would help motivate him. I broke out the camera because I loved that he chose to put on his rainboots and I just happened to capture the very quick decline of enthusiasm as I explained to him what he was doing with his underwear on in the backyard.

Suffice it to say, he is still wearing diapers

I love it! I can totally feel the emotion. Nice capture!

The only reason Thomas would potty train was because size 6 diapers were getting too small and we didn't have other options. I think he was about 4. These boys! We eventually promised a trip to Sea World which we made good on several years later... Take heart!

hilarious!!

but I feel the pain :(
Have you tried the Potty Training 1-2-3 method? They get a piece of candy for keeping their underwear dry, 2 if they go in the potty. Worked for us. After about 5 days of being trained they really do stop asking for the candy and then the candy part just kind of disappears. I would give literally one m&m. if u want to borrow my copy let me know.

So this is my suggestion! Don't listen to anyone who tells you how young their children were when they potty trained them. I remember giving up on Nathan for 6 months and then trying again. I was ready but he wasn't.
